Ophthalmology is a medical specialty that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of eye disorders and abnormalities. The human eye's purpose is to receive visual information. Imaging has become crucial in the detection and treatment of diseases affecting the back of the eye. Imaging systems for the anterior segment have gained popularity in recent years and are now commonly employed in clinical practice.
