Ophthalmology is a medical specialty that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of eye disorders and abnormalities. The human eye's purpose is to receive visual information. Because of the availability and development of novel in vivo imaging tools, there has been tremendous progress in the general knowledge of ocular disorders during the previous ten years. The therapy procedures have been influenced by recent improvements in diagnostic methods. Many intriguing advancements in ophthalmology, particularly anterior segment technologies, have occurred in recent years. Imaging has become crucial in the detection and treatment of diseases affecting the back of the eye. Imaging systems for the anterior segment have gained popularity in recent years and are now commonly employed in clinical practice.
