Dear conference attendees and colleagues

Dear conference attendees and colleagues, it is a great privilege and pleasure to be a part of this important and prestigious International Ophthalmology Conference. To stay current with the latest advancements and discoveries in eye care, it's important to address this pressing and exciting challenge in a multi-stakeholder environment like this Meeting. The academicians and researchers attending IOC 2026 have the potential to benefit from the conference to manage activities in their respective areas by participating in this exchange. Since several neurodegenerative diseases, including glaucoma, involve retina damage, there is a pressing need for innovative neuroprotection approaches. The development and assessment of novel therapeutic strategies to counteract adverse effects of symptomatic treatments requires the use of reliable experimental models to mimic the underlying mechanisms of such eye diseases.

In my view, this IOC 2026 meeting will be a highly productive conference for engaging and motivating discussions and knowledge exchange, enabling to anticipate a future filled with innovative knowledge, research, and technology in ophthalmology issues, for reliable neuroprotective strategies.

Dear all our attendees

Following the superb meeting in Rome, it is great to see the IOC go from strength to strength. The conference brings together a skilful mix of subjects and expertise, and the organising committee are to be congratulated on putting together what promises to be an enlightening and educating event. It is increasingly difficult to run an ophthalmology conference that covers all the different disease topics, as our training and practice become ever more subspecialised. Yet, the need to look outside our silo remains ever important, and the more we share information across our respective areas, the more there is to gain. Hence, this conference remains as relevant as ever, perhaps even more so. So, from the front to back of the eye, whether virtual or in person, I expect there will be much to learn and enjoy in Singapore.

Dear Conference Attendees

Dear Conference Attendees,

Good morning, esteemed guests, it is an honor and great pleasure to write a few welcome notes for the session entitled "Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography – A Window into Retinal Health in Anemic Pregnant Women'. Anemia in pregnancy is a significant public health concern, and its impact on retinal health is a topic of growing interest. This keynote will explore the potential of OCTA in detecting retinal changes in anemic pregnant women, shedding light on the intricate relationship between anemia, pregnancy, and retinal health. For our young researchers, this talk promises to be a valuable learning experience, offering a unique perspective on the applications of OCTA in clinical research and practice. We'll gain insights into the latest techniques, challenges, and future directions in this field, and explore opportunities for innovation and discovery.
