Biography:
Dr Fatima Kalabi is a FY2 resident doctor at Queen’s Hospital, UK. She graduated from Brighton and Sussex Medical School with the Gold Spirit of Sussex Award, where she founded the BSMS Ophthalmology Society. She is passionate about medical education, having served as a teaching fellow at Homerton Hospital and recently authored a chapter in ‘Thyroid Eye Disease: A Comprehensive Guide’ on Selenium and other dietary modifications. Dr Kalabi’s research interests include surgical innovation and applications of AI in eyecare. Currently, she leads a research collaboration between Moorfields Eye Hospital and University of East London on AI-enabled patient education.
