Biography:
Dr. Chaitra M C, Professor, Dept of Ophthalmology at Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar, India. After her MS in Ophthalmology, she pursed a Medico legal Ethics Diploma Degree (PGDMLS) and PGDQMHHO- Post graduate degree in Quality management of Hospital & Healthcare Organization from Symbiosis University, Pune. Chaitra was awarded with honorary Membership of National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS) in the year 2025. Awarded Distinguished Researcher Award in the field of Ophthalmology on 25th Jan 2026 by the International Scientific Laurels Committee. Chaitra has 14 years of experience in the field of Comprehensive Ophthalmology. Dr. Chaitra has presented papers & posters in various national & international conferences and has 52 publications in indexed journals. She is involved in academic, research and administrative work.
