Xia Hua

Biography:

Prof. Xia Hua is a Professor of Ophthalmology and currently serves as Deputy President of Aier Eye Hospital Group Co., Ltd. (Tianjin Region) and Vice President of Tianjin University Aier Eye Hospital. She is a recipient of the State Council Special Allowance and a Tianjin Distinguished Professor. As a Principal Investigator at the National Key Laboratory of Brain-Computer Interaction (Haihe Laboratory), she leads research on eye organoids and brain-computer fusion. Her research focuses on ocular infectious and immune diseases, cataract pharmacotherapy, nanocarrier-based ocular drug delivery, and retinal organoids. She has published over 40 SCI-indexed papers in leading journals such as Bioact Mater¡¢Adv Sci¡¢Chem Eng J¡¢JACI¡¢IOVS and AJO, with a total impact factor exceeding 240 and a highest single-paper impact factor of 18.0.
