Sorath Noorani

Biography:

Dr. Sorath Noorani graduated and secured 3^rd position in final year MBBS in 1996 from Liaquat Medical University Pakistan. She then did FCPS Ophthalmology in 2004 from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. She also did MRCS Ophthalmology, FRCS Ophthalmology from the Royal College of Glasgow United Kingdom. She also did her fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology from McGill University Canada, in 2013. She received gold medal from Ophthalmology Society of Pakistan for her services in ophthalmology. She has served as department head at Al Shifa Trust eye hospital Rawalpindi for more than 10 which is the state of the art pediatric tertiary eye care hospital in Pakistan. Recently she has moved to Qatar as a consultant in Pediatric ophthalmology and pediatric glaucoma atHamad Medical Corporation. She is affiliated with Qatar University as an Associate Professor. She has more than 50 publications to her credit. She has also received a gold medal and a silver medal from Ophthalmology Society Pakistan for her oral presentations in ophthalmology meetings.
