Biography:
Karishma Parmar is currently a second-year Ophthalmology resident doctor. Originally from Lisbon, Portugal, Parmar moved to the United Kingdom after completing a medical degree at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon. During foundation years in the UK, Parmar completed two taster weeks in Ophthalmology and really gained a passion for this field. Parmar eventually secured a training post in the West Midlands Deanery and is currently enjoying a rotation in Uveitis at the Birmingham Midland Eye Centre.
