Biography:
Bidisha Rani completed her MBBS and MS in Ophthalmology from Patna Medical College and Hospital. During her postgraduation, she won several state and national level quizzes and was awarded the prestigious Shri Mohan Mishra Gold Medal. She subsequently pursued her fellowship from Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Chitrakoot.Following her fellowship, she has been working as a Cornea Consultant at Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital, a high-volume centre of excellence based in rural Bihar. She has a keen interest in academic writing, innovations, and corneal infections. Her academic work on the use of a mobile repair microscope for wet lab practice won the Best Paper Appreciation Award at the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology this year.
