Biography:
Shahzoda Jurakhonova is a fourth-year medical student at Central Asian University in Uzbekistan and a medical assistant at Optimed Ophthalmology Clinic. She assists in patient care, diagnostics, and ophthalmic surgeries. In high school, she authored a book titled “Hygiene and Prevention of the Visual Analyzer in Adolescents.” Shahzoda is also the founder of the charity organization “Hikmah,” which supports low-income families and children with illnesses in Uzbekistan. She plans to apply for a residency at Massachusetts Eye and Ear in the United States. Her professional focus is on advancing ophthalmic care through precision and compassion.
