Biography:
Liu Yiru, female, born in June 1960, is an Associate Chief Physician who has long been dedicated to clinical practice and research in acupuncture and moxibustion. Her primary research focuses on "acupuncture, cupping, and blistering therapy" and "cupping and blistering therapy." Since 1979, she has worked at several hospitals, including the Southwest Jiaotong University Emei Campus Hospital from 1996 to 2020. She has applied her innovative therapies to treat various challenging conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and tumors. Her research has been published in domestic and international journals, and her monograph on the therapy has been reprinted multiple times by the People's Medical Publishing House. Since 2020, she has frequently been invited to international academic conferences to promote this traditional Chinese medicine technique.
