Biography:
Dr. Bi-Xia Wei is a resident physician at the Ophthalmology Medical Diagnosis and Treatment Center of the People's Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. She holds a Master's degree and serves as the secretary of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Xinjiang Medical Association. Her clinical and research expertise encompasses ocular immunology, fundus diseases, and optometry. Dr. Wei has authored 8 academic papers as the first author, including 2 SCI-indexed publications. She has led one university-level research project and participated as a top-three contributor in 3 autonomous region-level scientific research projects. Furthermore, she has been a key contributor to 4 scientific and technological progress awards. Her accolades include the Second Prize in the hospital's Young Teacher Teaching Competition and the honorary title of Outstanding Secretary from a professional committee of the Xinjiang Medical Association.
